Whole Foods GF bakery cupcakes saga...

We had GF cupcakes from Whole Foods in Minneapolis and they are delicious. Tried to get them here and was told it was impossible by local customer service. Don't take NO for an answer. : )

I have just contacted customer service, the bakery department, and leadership at the Cambridge store with specific directions on how to order in the cupcakes. Our products are sent to suppliers throughout the country and the stores order from them directly. It seems they were not aware that the cupcakes were available for ordering.

We apologize for the inconvenience and confusing. Someone from the Cambridge store should be contacting you shortly with additional information on when they will have the cupcakes in.

I go to the whole foods in Cambridge at Fresh Pond and spoke to two people in customer service and two different people in the bakery all seemed to have no clue how to do this. The baker kept telling me it was too hard for them to bake GF cupcakes. We had the GF cupcakes in Minneapolis and they are delicious and would be a great thing to keep in my freezer so my daughter can bring them to parties etc.

Your local store can add items to their existing orders for customers. They order from a supplying warehouse, not directly from us. Stores typically order bakery products bi-weekly and if there is a product of ours they don't typically carry they can add it to their next order. The bakery department (specifically the buyer or team leader) should be familiar with this practice. Did you speak to someone in the bakery? Can you tell me store location you frequent so I can follow up with them? Sorry for the confusion and inconvenience.

Our product line is sold exclusively at Whole Foods Market store
locations. If you do not live near a store but know you are traveling
to an area near one you can call ahead and place a special order for
the products you'd like to purchase. Most store locations require at
least 48 hours notice for special orders, but this may vary by
location in regards to Gluten Free Bakehouse products (ask someone in
the bakery department for details). Our products are shipped to the
stores frozen, so you may wish to request that they remain frozen for
ease of transport and storage. You may wish to ask about case
discounts or other in-store promotions as well. Some customers have
also solved this problem by asking a friend to ship them product
occasionally.

However, when I ask my local Whole Foods they have no idea how to
special order something from the bakehouse.

Jamba Juice : everything except Pomegranite Heart Happy
Wendy's : List of gluten free items on their menu. Some stuff, not that we ever go to Wendy's but who knows when you just might be stuck in a mall?
Taco Bell : Everything on the menu has gluten except rice. and we never ever go there
